Sacred Valley One Day Tour

Our excursion begins with pick-up from your accommodation between 8:00 to 8:30 am in the city of Cusco. We will then head northwest in our tourist transportation, passing through picturesque towns until we reach the Taray viewpoint. From there, we will have a preliminary view of the entire Sacred Valley. The places we will visit on our tour are as follows:

  1. Pisaq: We will explore the impressive Inca terraces that line the mountains, defying gravity with their location. Afterwards, we will descend to the town of Pisaq to visit its artisan market.
  2. Ollantaytambo: We will continue our journey towards Ollantaytambo, making a stop in the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy lunch. Ollantaytambo is an ancient resting place and is known as “The Living Inca City” as it still preserves original Inca houses and streets.
  3. Chinchero: We will conclude our excursion by visiting Chinchero, a beautiful village known for its textile tradition and ancient customs. It also houses a colonial church with impressive canvases and altarpieces from the Cusco School.

We will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 7:00 pm.
