The Cusco South Valley 1 Day Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. with our tourist transportation. Then, we will visit the following places: TIPON: Located 18 km from Cusco, Tipon is an impressive site that features 12 Inca terraces and was once a ceremonial center for water. It has a fascinating irrigation system still used by the local people. PIKILLACTA: Pikillaqta is situated 30 km from Cusco and is a pre-Inca archaeological site (Wari) where you can see narrow streets, plazas, and temples. From this site, we can also enjoy a view of the Huacarpay lagoon. ANDAHUAYLILLAS: We will visit the famous Catholic Church known as “the Sistine Chapel of America” from the colonial era. It boasts beautiful mural paintings and a main altar adorned with 24-carat gold leaf. After exploring the beautiful church, we will return to Cusco at approximately 3:00 p.m.
