Waqrapukara One Day Tour

Early in the morning, around 3:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and head to the starting point of our hike to Waqrapukara. After a stop at the Four Lakes of Acomayo and a delicious breakfast at Qenterococha Lake, we will begin our hike towards the Waqrapukara archaeological complex. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna of the area. Once we reach the archaeological complex, we will explore this incredible place with the detailed guidance of our guide, and you will have free time to explore and take photos. Afterwards, we will start hiking back on a different trail with different viewpoints of the Apurimac Canyon. At the end of the trail, our private transportation will be waiting for us, and we will enjoy lunch before returning to Cusco around 7:00 pm. It is important that travelers undertaking the Waqrapukara tour are in good physical condition and have acclimatized to the altitude due to the high elevation of the site.
